Actually, nearly all the uses you desscribe are conventional, involving building with (several) bricks. They would not qualify as creative answers in a creativity test. I remember taking the brick test as a teenager and coming up with things like: "Grind into dust and mix with water to form a paste that can be shaped like dog poo and placed on pavements to scare old ladies". That is an example of a truly creative answer, without tooting my own horn, as it involves a novel use, is detailed and elaborate and includes a motivating factor.

I have taken the test. However it was the Keirsey Temperament Sorter from the book "Please Understand Me" Different Drums and Different Drummers. Since i have taken it my personality changed and the online test questions can't determine my type with just 1 answer. I have both in some traits and views in some questions.
I need somewhat another printable version of the test i already have. Is there a website where i can print off a similar Temperament Sorter?

I completely agree with the internal challenges, enterprises are facing when trying to embrace Open Innovation. The concept of open innovation being treated like outsourcing got discussed on our blog sometime back -
http://blog.ideaken.com/2010/05/does-open-innovation-equal-outsourcing.html

Another challenge we face quite regularly and also highlighted by Mr Luca here, why should the solver spend effort to solve a problem if there is no guarantee of reward/compensation and there is a risk of losing the design/idea. My take on the same is - Ideas have a limited shelf idea and if you do not use them on time, anyway they will go waste. Further, what are the chances that the same idea is not being discussed in another part of the world. We encourage solvers to participate but provide only non-confidential information and their take on how they intend to solve the challenge. If the enterprise finds the proposal interesting, then they can have a formal agreement to move forward.

People need to change their perceptions on how they view these competitions.
